Arriving tired on the morning of a three-hour exam costs more points than most candidates expect, and it is the one variable you fully control.
Sessions run more often in Dakar than in neighbouring regional capitals, but they are still the bottleneck. Watch for the calendar opening rather than for the session date, and register the same day. When a single centre serves an entire country, that is the only strategy that reliably works.

The single public figure we found, 65,000 XOF, sits far below the 160,000 to 226,000 XOF observed elsewhere in the region and almost certainly refers to a different TCF — the TCF tout public or the TCF DAP, not the TCF Canada. The typical candidate in Senegal arrives with solid listening comprehension and weaker written production. French is the language of schooling here, but not always the language in which you have had to build an argument on paper. Written task 3 — set two documents against each other and take a position — is where that shows up, and it is worth as much as the two tasks before it.
